Valerie grew up in New Jersey and graduated from the Academy of Health Sciences in California in 1982, where she started her massage career. She moved to Colorado in 1988 and began working for Sheridan Park Chiropractic in 1989. Valerie is a valued member of our staff. She uses many different techniques including Ortho-Bionomy, Cranial Sacral, Deep tissue Swedish (a gentle deep tissue technique), Polarity Balancing, Reflexology, Energy Balancing, and Lymphatic Massage.
Valerie is always eager to learn new techniques and ideas. This motivation led her to obtain an Associate’s Degree in Occupational Studies in Massage Therapy in 2002. She continually attends seminars and classes to improve her skills and personal development.
Valerie has a great love for all kinds of animals and she loves to give her time to help them whenever she can. She has two wild/feral cats that live with her and they are her “babies.” In her free time, Valerie enjoys meditation, reading, Tai chi, and takes long walks. She is a Raiders fan, too!
Valerie has helped with March of Dimes and Marisol, a home for special children, working with “baby bonding” for pregnant teens, therapy for children with autism, cerebral palsy, and abused and battered children. Her sincere desire to help people and animals reflects the heart of our mission at Sheridan Park Chiropractic, which is to guide everyone to a healthier life.
