SARAH VOSEN, ACUPUNCTURE
Sarah graduated from the Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine College in Berkeley, CA in 2007, with a Master’s of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine. She has recently joined the team at Sheridan Park Chiropractic, and is excited to share the wealth of wisdom she has cultivated over the years. She utilizes both Eastern and Western healing philosophies to efficiently identify the causes of your pain and symptoms. Her years of experience have honed her ability to support you at any point during your adult life, for any acute or chronic conditions that are in the way of you enjoying life.
Sarah uses a variety of tools to get you feeling your best.
She has learned so much from working with a variety of holistic practitioners over the years, while she lived in CA, MN, and CO. With your consent, your treatment may include acupuncture, cupping, gua sha, guided meditation, ear seeds, and lifestyle coaching (including nutrition, supplementation, exercises/stretching, sleep support, energy management techniques, and stress-relieving recommendations). These suggestions are meant to help you return to health, and stay well. Because we address the causes of your pain at the source, and why we recommend lifestyle shifts, you are more likely to heal fully. Once your complaints have resolved, she recommends a monthly wellness maintenance treatment to keep you feeling good, and sometimes get you better than you even thought you could feel. This can be especially helpful during times of stress, and seasonal transitions, or just before those times of the year when you tend to get sick or have an old injury flare up so we can stop that cycle from continuing.
Sarah is delighted by exploring nature, traveling the world, and enjoying delicious meals with her partner, Andy. She also enjoys laughing, learning, hiking, gardening, doing AcroYoga, and philosophizing about the wonders of the universe with her friends and family.

CHARLENE JOURDAN, MASSAGE
Charlene’s desire is to help people work toward living free from pain. This motivates her to treat patients meticulously and with compassion. She looks to the cause and effect of the pain and dysfunction to reduce the issues and restore better function, while listening to the patient’s body to find what lies underneath the pain. She uses myofascial release, trigger point work and joint mobilization predominantly, but is also well-versed in European or Swedish work and a manual therapy form of Traditional Chinese Medicine referred to as Amma. Any of these techniques can be done with deeper or lighter pressure, depending upon the needs of the patient.
Charlene is passionate about creativity and hobbies which are based in art. She practices a spiritual lifestyle and believes in a wholistic approach to health. Charlene has experience with celiac disease and the gluten-free lifestyle. She is enthusiastic about helping others find happiness and health.
