Dr. Jeneka Embrey grew up in Maine and attended the University of Maine in Orono, where she studied Exercise Science and Kinesiology. During her time there she was an active sister in the Chi Omega fraternity and played on the field hockey and lacrosse club teams. After completing her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, she moved to St. Louis, where she completed her Bachelor’s degree in Life Science and began her studies in Chiropractic. While attending Logan College of Chiropractic, Dr. Embrey studied various techniques including Activator, Active Release Technique (ART), Advanced Logan Basic, Webster technique for pregnancy, Thompson, Graston and Acupuncture. In 2013, Dr. Embrey graduated from Logan and moved back to Maine, where she practiced in a sports and wellness-based clinic. In the last three years she gained experience working with athletes, babies, children, pregnant patients, and patients with acute and chronic conditions, as well as those looking for overall wellness care. She recently began the program to become a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician.
Dr. Embrey is excited to be in Colorado and become an Associate Doctor at Sheridan Park Chiropractic, where she looks forward to make a great impact on people’s health. Her outside interests include anything outdoors, especially hiking and skiing, as well as Crossfit.
